Nathan and Anna’s West Tennessee wedding day was filled with golden light, sweet emotions, and lots and lots of people. Nathan and Anna’s love is genuine, and I got to simply follow them around throughout the day to witness it. My favorite moment of the day was sitting in on the bridesmaids’ prayer over Anna right before the ceremony, TEARS in my eyes.
So many people have thoughts about how large or small your wedding party should be, but the truth is, it’s YOUR day and you can do what you want and be surrounded by whoever you want. Nathan and Anna had eleven bridesmaids and eleven groomsmen, and a very large family. And honestly, it made the day SO MUCH FUN. The dancing was energetic, the photos were a party, and the bridal party was the best support system for the bride and groom.
The portraits following the ceremony -which was incredibly magical by the way- had the best golden hour light I’ve ever experienced (shout out to a West Tennessee wedding day for that one). Their photos turned out to be romantic and joyful, with a pride and prejudice kind of vibe- really all due to their STUNNING venue, The Robinshaw in the Memphis area of Tennessee. The reception kicked off with MORE tearful speeches and then, the best moment of the reception to date, they kicked off the dancing with Just Dance for all their guests. This got everyone out on the dance floor and ready to party!
Nathan and Anna, congrats on being Mr. and Mrs. Nohr and including me in your special day. It was an honor.
