I knew Jack and Sarah from our time in college in Jackson, Tennessee and we did their sweet engagement session at golden hour Downtown Jackson Tennessee. I had no idea what to expect when they booked me to shoot their wedding at Jack’s family property in the mountains of East Tennessee in Sevierville during early summer. When I drove up, their venue, Wears Valley Ranch, was in the center of the Smokey Mountains filled with floral dresses and calm energy for the day–I was OBSESSED!
Jack and Sarah’s love is contagious, they are so giggly around each other and their bridal party supported them in every way possible. Their ceremony was in a historic church where Jack grew up and it was filled with the love of Jesus, which is so evident in this couple. Sarah’s bridesmaids were in some of my favorite dresses I’ve EVER seen and were there to serve their best friend as she became a wife. Their wedding made me realize how much I miss living in the mountains and realize I’d like to book EVERY mountain wedding possible!! I simply have not stopped looking at this wedding since I delivered their gallery.
Cheers to Mr. and Mrs. McDonnell!!
